Claudia Leitte was born July 10, 1980 in São Gonçalo, Rio de Janeiro & 

she's a Brazilian axe singer, and former vocalist of the group Babado Novo.

Since she is one of the most popular axé singers in Brazil, she hosted MTV Brasil's Video Music Brasil 2007,in which she had been nominated as best singer in that award.

Claudia Leitte has also won other awards.

 

 

Claudia Leitte started singing children's songs, while still young, then worked as a singer in bars. She was also the vocalist of several axe music bands.

 

 

She became a professional singer when she was thirteen years old.
